Why have descriptions?

Often the collectors are just as interesting as their collections. Providing a bit of background about yourself can help people understand your collections and make them more interesting. People will enjoy looking at your collections more if they know a little bit about you.

What should I put in my description

People visit Collectish because they're interested in looking at the Collections. So if you're having trouble thinking of ways to describe yourself, perhaps start by answering a few questions such as:

• What sort of things are you interested in collecting?
• Why are you interested in collecting?
• How did you start collecting?
• For how long have you been a collector?
• Do you have any other related interests?

How to update your Description

Method 1

Go to your profile page and click on your Description. A dialog will open that will enable you to update it. Click on Save when you are done.

Method 2

1. Go to your profile page
2. Click on Manage Details
3. Click on Update your Profile
4. Enter your description in the About You box and click Save.
